About the Origin of Baywatch
In Spring of 2004 the Jason Baywatch was started. Preperations for the game began the day before at Tim's house. Making a sign proved to be harder then first thought. Using Masking tape and Duct tape and a can of black spray paint a sign was born. After tearing off the tape the trio (Tim, Chris, and Squiqqs) noticed how horrible it looked. Black spots were everywhere. They needed a solution. That solution was of course white out. Armed with only one jar of white out the trio tried to cover up some of the spots. As the white out ran out and the trio grew tired they gave up.
The next day game and it was time to start the baywatch. As the line ups were annouced it the hard truth came down, Jason Bay was not starting. As the game rolled on puzzled Cubs fans looked at us wondering "what is wrong with them" or "what is baywatch." Our answer of course was "Cubs suck!" Then came the moment we were all waiting for. In the 7th inning Jason Bay came in to pinch hit with the bases loaded. In the box score it will be listed as a ground out but at the game it was a swinging bunt. Much to the delight of the Baywatch he stayed in the game. In the ninth Bay finally noticed us and tried to throw us a ball. The shoulder must not be 100% though as he missed us by 20 ft.
